"Looks" that count: How the sperm "looks" in a natural state does not always connote how they perform. Microscopic evaluation is the best "look" that has more meaning as movement(motility) shape(morphology, and abnormal forms can be really seen on sperm analysis. Have your husband give a specimen to a MD if you still have concerns about future fertility. Remember, his sperm is only 40% of the fertility equation.
