Viral rash: This sounds like a typical viral rash that can accompany viral infections and tends to manifest towards the end of the illness when the fever has started subsiding. A rash and fever can also point to meningitis therefore if you have associated headache or neck pain or vomiting you need to see a doctor immediately

Go see your doctor: If you have high fever which is lasting more than 24 hours and or if the rash does not blanch, you should see your dcotro and get a blood count(cbc and platelet count) checked.
