Rare condition: Solar urticaria is a rare cause of photosensitive dermatoses. Risk factors are a family history of the condition, having dermatitis, use of perfumes or other chemicals which may trigger the condition when there is exposure to sunlight, and use of antibiotics or other medications which may trigger the condition.
