MCT's: Medium chain triglycerides (MCTs) are partially man-made fats. The name refers to the way the carbon atoms are arranged in their chemical structure. MCTs are generally made by processing coconut and palm kernel oils in the laboratory. Usual dietary fats, by comparison, are long-chain triglycerides. Coconut and palm: Medium chain fatty acids are partially man made by re-arranging the Carbon atom in coconut and palm oil. Generally more healthy than some very long chained fatty acids. No drug interactions have been noted for propecia, so there should be no problem with foodstuffs containing MCFAs.
