A member asked:

Is it possible for a radiologist to miss a tumour on a ct scan? should i have a second opinion?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Possible: It's possible that a lesion can be missed on any study. I'm sure the radiologist would not object to a second reading of the scans by another radiologist in his group or elsewhere to reassure you.
