TOO CLOSE!: If you do not want to get pregnant, be careful regarding unprotected sex, especially one week before your period. Condoms not only help protect against pregnancy, but also provide protection against STI's. The fact that your Preg test was negative is reassuring, and the nausea may be related to something else. If it persists, see your Doctor for other causes.

Probably OK: Probably not pregnant if you had period after unprotected sex. Would use protection in future and if you miss next period check another pregnancy test. If symptoms of nausea continue see your doctor.
