Conception issues: Depot Progesterone is a very good contraception, but it can have a delayed fertility issue. This can take as long as 18 months. However, the normal conception rate is 15 percent per cycle, which means that 85 couples out of a hundred will conceive after trying for one year. So, if you are menstruating every month, keep trying and once you have tried for one year, then talk to your gynecologist.

Patience: It is common to take over a year to go back to ovulating and getting your periods after using Depo-Provera provera (medroxyprogesterone). If you're hoping to get pregnant right away, your doctor can give you some medications to get you starting sooner.
