Surgery: I presume you mean you have pain in your right upper abdomen but that you have no stones on ultrasound? Have you had a CCK scan? Usually, if you fit the diagnostic criteria and ability of your gall bladder to empty is low enough on a CCK scan, the surgeon would offer to remove your gall bladder by key hole surgery (laprascopic) and this is an effective treatment. Best to discuss with your surgeon.
