Read the warning: Nearly all these products state "consult your physician prior to using this product it you are pregnant, nursing, ....." so please consult your OB or fp. If the manufacturer was certain this supplement does not cause harm to the fetus they would not include this warning. Probably safe, but no one can tell you for sure since the product has not been tested in pregnant women with ibs. Good luck.

I would avoid.: The GNC ones you asked about do not appear to be enteric coated which means these enzymes will be broken down by stomach acid before reaching the gut, rendering them mostly useless. There is some evidence that some of these enzymes might affect folate (folic acid) absorption which is critical for early neural development, so i would recommend saving your money! perhaps invest in some organic veggies instead!
