AT 20 YEARS: of age would be unusual for yo to be "coughing up " infected lung tissue but you could have chronically infected sinuses! Suggest STRONGLY that you have an ENT (EAR NOSE THROAT) evaluation. Begin by telling your PCP (Primary Care Provider) Hope this is helpful Dr Z
