Typhoid recovery: For the most part, patients recover from typhoid quickly after a given course of antibiotics. If you were hospitalized, it may take several weeks for a full recovery. And a small percentage have the possibility of relapse. Some individuals also become carriers. The nature of the recovery will also depend on your overall health. If you are very young or very old, the recovery could be longer.
