On 25mg atenolol twice a day. hr used to get higher after 12 hr mark. it doesn't do this anymore... could my tachycardia be cured from the medicine?

It is more likely: that your arrhythmia is controlled, not cured. Tachycardia has many possible causes and diagnoses but atenolol will not cure any of them, only control them. If you stop the medication it will come back.
