A member asked:

I had gingivostomatitis and was taking acyclovir. i'm a virgin, never kissed anyone. why did this happen?

Virus transfer: The average person touches their face/mouth at least 6 times/hr & when they do, they bring germs from their fingers close enough to be ingested. Anything you touch may be contaminated by the saliva of someone who has germs that can infect you. Kissing exposes you directly but that is not your only way to get germs.
