Enlarged testicle: Minor difference in testicle size is normal; and one always hangs lower. If significantly larger and this is new, see a doctor and get it checked out. If painless, maybe not actuallly an enlarged testicle but hydrocele, varicocele, or lipoma. These are harmless. If any pain or if the enlarged one is quite hard, then torsion, infection or, rarely, tumor is possible. If so, see MD immediately.

Testis hard or soft?: Most soft "testice" enlargements ar in fact hyroceles which are benign sac of fluid around testis & sometimes scrotal hernia. Left-sided enlargement, feeling like "bag of worms" when standing is a varicocele. Hard swelling of testis must always always be evaluated as it is cancer until proven otherwise.
