Hard to guess: There are many, many pill makers throughout the world. There is a picture of a round pill with a Z on one side and a 70 on the other side, on the webpage: http://www.zydususa.com/all-products/#M That webpage says it is metformin 500mg, but one cannot be sure that some other pills in the world don't have the same markings.
