I like Lamictal: As a psychiatrist i prescribe Lamictal for its fda approved use in bipolar disorder. When used appropriately (slow titration monitoring for rash) I have found it to be safe and effective. It has a favorable side effect profile with little to no effect on libido or weight. I have no experience using it for neurological conditions such as seizures. Good luck, dr. Dave.
