A member asked:

After cellular fluid leaves the ruptured cell, will the contents in cellular fluid be able to react with chemicals in interstitial fluid?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Of course: If a cell is inside the body, it is surrounded by interstitial fluid. Therefore if that cell breaks, whatever comes out of the cell gets mixed with the surrounding interstitial fluid. It's like being on a boat in the middle of a lake. If the boat breaks in half, you will end up in the lake.
