A member asked:

On comb pill, friction not sex, no ejaculation, had withdrawal bleed same week. 15 days later; is pregnancy possible? accurate test?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Rarely possible: Birth control pills, when taken each day at about the same time, are still working to prevent pregnancy, regardless of whether the withdrawal bleeding is lighter than expected, heavier than expected, or intentionally prevented. However, if the withdrawal bleeding is unintentionally missing, one can check a home urine pregnancy test (accurate at 3wk after sex). Real life can surprise you sometimes.
