Exercise is best: The natural way to boost your metabolism is by exercise. The more physical exercise that causes your heart rate to increase, the better it is in raising your metabolism. The thyroid controls your metabolism and if you are low in thyroid hormone levels, we use thyroid medication to also boost your metabolism. However, you should see your medical provider to get your thyroid level checked first.
