Not likely: Overdoses up to 4500 mg of sertraline alone produced mild drowsiness and serious toxicity did not develop in the 48 patients.

Zoloft (sertraline): There have been very few reports of overdose with ssri causing death. All depends on the medical status of the individual who has overdosed, and if taking other drugs in combination with it. Any intoxication could be lethal or cause permanent damage to the brain, or other organs. Suicidal ideation is a serious health concern, and needs to be treated psychiatric and medically.
