Head and neck pain: Pain is non specific, neck pain from neck muscle spasm, cervical spine diseases can radiate up to the head and ear on the same side. Try ibuprofen, warm compress to neck, see neurologist if no improvement.

Several Possibilites: Your description and location of your headache could be related to a number of different causes. Pain in the head and neck region can be related to, but not limited a dental issue, a TMJ problem (i.e, the sensation that feels like something needs to pop), muscular tension, stress, vertebral disc issues, etc. If OTC meds are not alleviating the pain, you should be evaluated by your family MD.
