Hi i'm curious as to how can hpts b trusted if some women get negs when they infact r pregnant. they have to do beta hcg or don't find out till after ?

No worries: Pregnant women do not get negative pregnancy tests at 3 or more weeks after sex. If possibly pregnant, and very worried about tests, a woman can buy 2 different brands of pregnancy tests, and do both tests after reading the instructions carefully. If one or both of the tests are positive 3 weeks after sex, then she is pregnant (or was pregnant and her pregnancy failed within the past few days).
