A member asked:

How long after iud insertion can i work out?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

As soon as you want: There is usually no restriction on physical activity after an IUD insertion. The insertion itself can cause some cramping or abdominal and back discomfort as well as spotting or bleeding. These things can make you not want to workout but there is not a medical reason for to return to your normal activities.
