A member asked:

If you are pregnant would they have proscribed birth control?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not knowingly: If a patient is pregnant a MD will not prescribe hormonal contraception. If the patient's last menstrual period date is uncertain, a pregnancy evaluation and pelvic exam is done first prior to considering a contraceptive Rx.
