My daughter started with pnumonia and now has chest pain and also a rash on her chest, could this be lupus?

Not likely: There are multiple other causes of a rash on a chest apart from Lupus. The rash could simply be a viral rash that would have followed on from a suppressed immune system after having pneumonia. Lupus is always a possibility but other common causes need to be ruled out first. You need to see your doctor to determine the cause of her rash

Mgt: More information would be helpful and an inbox consultation may be booked. She may be experiencing a drug related allergic reaction. Has she been on antibiotics? Other possible causes include infection and pleuritic inflammation.
