Swooning : In the old South, they used to call this "swooning". It was practically expected of Southern Belles to "swoon" if they became emotionally upset in some way. However, it may not be as romantic a situation in the case of your wife. Fainting is no longer taken lightly, even in the South. Please have your wife see a cardiologist to rule out heart problems causing the fainting.
