Sebaceous Cyst: For a large or inflamed cyst, recommend draining the cyst. When the cyst becomes inflamed and infected like a “boil”, a more complex procedure and prolonged recovery would be required. Also, to avoid it getting infected, removal (excision) of sebaceous cyst wall and the cyst content is the definitive treatment.
