Fertility testing: About 90% of couples with no medical problems will get pregnant within 12 months of unprotected intercourse. If it has been longer then a fertility evaluation is warranted. There are 3 basic tests needed to get started. 1. Ovulation testing 2. Semen analysis 3. An HSG Xray which tests to confirm that the fallopian tubes are open. You Obgyn should be able to get the testing process started for you.
