See MD: Bring your baby to see MD please. Does he have fever/chills? If the rash is hot to the touch he may have a bacterial infection that will respond to penicillin /amoxicillin. Erysipelas and cellulitis can appear this way as can scarlet fever so he needs an exam to look for strep throat. Parvovirus, eczema, contact dermatitis, viral rxn. Don't worry your baby will be just fine bring him in for exam.
