Yeast infection : Many women get a yeast infection while taking antibiotics, and Monistat often helps. Since you still have 5 more days to go on your antibiotics, you should use the 7 day version of monistat so you will still have some coverage after the meds are done. However, not every vaginal discharge is yeast. If you continue to have discharge after treatment, see your doctor for testing of the discharge.

Poss.yeast infection: The itching and discharge may be a yeast infection from the antibiotic use, but it wouldn't hurt to have a MD confirm the same before starting any treatment including over the counter Monistat which may or may not work.
