When using the ovulation test kit to check for lh surge how many days does the lh surge shows and stops?

LH surge: LH is always present but spikes to much higher levels in the 12-36 hours before ovulation. It will then begin to decrease and return to normal baseline levels. This is why you stop testing after you get a positive result. Once you get a surge then you stop testing for that menstrual cycle
