Yes...: ...Ventolin, or albuterol, works by opening your small airways. Excellent for wheezing associated with asthma, bronchitis, chest congestion, etc. The problem with inhalers is learning to use them appropriately. Sometimes your physician will also prescribe a spacer which helps.
