A member asked:

My daughter has been diagnosed with molluscum contagiosum. is there a med or cream that can be prescribed?

Several: If she is in no distress she needs only to wait for them to go away. Could be weeks or months. If you prefer treatment, see a dermatologist. Usually treatments are easy as long as the child is relaxed and cooperative. It is OK if she picks or squeezes them as this helps get rid of them. After they are gone there will be no scars and lifelong immunity.
