Jock itch: Jock itch can be treated with over the counter anti-ifungal powders/ cream. if there is an ingrown hair there may be a concomitant bacterial infection so would follow up with doc as you may need topical antibiotics ( mupirocin) as well as oral antibiotics ( usually bacitracin is insufficient)
