Flank pain: If infection is not the concern (e.g. absence of fever/chills), I suspect a stone. You better have it evaluated sooner before it becomes obstructing your urine canal if that's the case. You physician may end up ordering some basic blood work like kidney function, urine tests and if concerning enough, and ultrasound/CT scan of the kidneys (abdomen and pelvis).
