No, there is no: direct link. However, there is a link between sexual activity and UTI's. Since the urethra, vaginal and rectum are all next to each other, there is sometimes irritation that occurs in the area of the urethra from intercourse. This can make it more likely for bacteria from the rectal area to get into the urethra. Please discuss this with your doctor.
