No easy answer: Unfortunately, this is a very difficult situation. But the only way for any doctor to reasonably help out, is with an in person evaluation, blood testing and likely a pelvic ultrasound. Remember you can have vaginal bleeding during pregnancy without having a miscarriage, but more info is necessary to be able to better guide your mother.
