Not unusual: C-section is a major surgery. The amount of time it requires to recover is very individual. The pain and/or discomfort should get slowly, progressively better. If your pain gets progressively or suddenly worse, then you should contact your OB/GYN. Drinking plenty of fluids, eaingt well, getting regular exercise, like walking, and taking prenatal vitamins should help your recovery.
