Bleeding risk: Coumadin (warfarin) certainly increases your risk of bleeding. This is something that would be noted after a few days for sure. Keep an eye on the knee and if the swelling is not improving and gets worse, you will need to see a dr. Get your inr done, and may need to "hold" the coumadin, (warfarin) or even get the knee joint aspirated. If it simply swelled and appears to be doing well, monitor the area. Best of luck.
