Chew your food: Swallowing a large amount of food without chewing may cause an upset stomach and/or heartburn. It is best to chew your food at least 33 times before ingesting for proper digestion and nutrient absorption. The large chunk of food will not stay in your stomach forever, but takes a longer time to digest.
