See your doctor: With the newer contrast agents, it is rare to see any adverse reactions. There is a small chance of injury to the kidney. Your doctor can look for kidney problems using blood and urine tests. I would make sure to review the allergic reaction and the agent used that caused it with your doctor. There are many agents available. You may need to use a different one in the future.
