Endometriosis: Pain in right labia maiora during menstrual period could come from endometriosis. The inner lining of the uterus is called endometrium. It builds up every cycle and is shed with every menstrual period. In a fair percentage of women endometrium can be found outside the uterus, mostly inside the abdominal cavity, though, However, in rare instances it can be found anywhere in a woman's body.

Menstrual pain: Menstrual cramps can often get “referred” to other areas in the pelvis. Ibuprofen may be helpful. Various birth control methods to shorten, lighten or eliminate the menstrual cycle may also be useful. An obgyn can help you determine the best options
