More info please: Depends on how high your LDL is. Also depends on your risk factors and your diet. LDL can be lowered by increasing your omega fatty acid, by increasing your exercise and possibly by decreasing your carbohydrate intake. If you have low risk factors then there wouldn't be much cause for concern.

DETAILS!!!: EXACTLY what is your LDL??? We no longer care much about HDL or trig. The risk factors are more important. Most people over 60 will benefit from a statin. Not all.
