Corneal abrasion: if it is just a scratch and there is no foreign body in it then nothing needs to be done. may need anitibiotic drops at the best. suggest review by doctor to make sure there is no foreign body in the eye and the abrasion is not deep.

It depends: If you just did this, and it is not bleeding , you can keep the eye closed for 12-24 hours and expect complete healing. If the scratch was with an iron containing device, or if you think there is still something in your eye, you should see a doctorright away. Do not use contact lenses until it is fully healed. If there is a change in vision, see a doctor right away.
