If you don't have: any allergies to medications you can take whatever analgesic works for you. Aspirin, tylenol, ibuprofen etc. Follow the directions on the bottle for dosing and frequency.

OTC meds: Any OTC pain reliever will help with regular tension type headaches. Motrin, Tylenol (acetaminophen) or Aspirin are the basic 3 available.
