Hair loss: This can be male pattern hair loss, hair thinning, or be due to underlying thyroid issue. To be sure your thyroid is not low functioning, a simple TSH would help rule this out. Other signs of hypothyroidism: fatigue, feeling colder than usual, some constipation, mild weight gain. Usually you have these prior to any hair loss. Genes play a role in our hair patterns.
