Yes, they heal: Hair falls from follicles normally. When hair is accidently pulled out, it can become red and inflamed, however no permanent damage results. The follicles are a permanent part of your scalp and all of your skin. After a few days, or a few weeks, the hair follicle will begin to regenerate a new strand of hair that will grow like before. Think of people who pluck or wax unwanted hair, it regrows. :)
