Although the: actual expiration date is often extended beyond what is printed on a package, it is never a good idea to take expired medications. Get a new prescription from your provider. There is now a generic replacement for Crestor that came out this last fall so you should be able to obtain a new refill with generic that is much less expensive than prior.
