Not good for UTI: Clindamycin is not normally used for urinary tract infections and will not work against most UTI bacteria. Check back with your doctor -- and don't try to treat yourself with clindamycin or any other antibiotic you might have around.

No a good antibiotic: Most UTIs are caused by gram negative bacteria. Clindamycin is only good for Gram positive bacteria(mostly useful for treating skin infections)
