Presume not pregnant: A woman can presume she is not pregnant if she has a normal menstrual period and has no symptoms of pregnancy. She can do a urine pregnancy test if she is worried. The test is accurate if done correctly, 1 week after a missed period or 3 weeks after having sex. Pregnancy tests are inexpensive and are sold in stores everywhere.
